Sick Policy

As we head into cold and flu season and back to school, we wanted to send a reminder about our Sick Policy. Our staff work with some people who are immunocompromised, so we appreciate everyone helping to keep the gymnastics center healthy as well as ensuring everyone is able to receive regular services.

Please reschedule a session if you or your child has a fever of 100°F or higher, vomiting or diarrhea, a known contagious illness, or symptoms that create a meaningful risk of exposing others or prevent safe participation in gymnastics.

Please also consider staying home if you or your child has three or more of the following symptoms, particularly if they are new or unusual: congestion/runny nose, cough that is not allergy-related, unusual fatigue or lethargy, muscle aches or chills, or staying home from school/work due to illness. Please also let us know about a positive test for illnesses such as flu, strep, or conjunctivitis, or a potentially contagious/undiagnosed rash or skin lesion.

Seasonal allergies and other clearly non-contagious conditions generally do not require cancellation if the student is otherwise well enough to participate.

Students should return when they are well enough to participate safely and meaningfully in session and meet any applicable public-health or medical guidance. Depending on the illness, this may mean being symptom-free for approximately 24–48 hours.

Please continue using good hygiene while at the gymnastics center, including covering coughs and sneezes with your elbow and washing hands as needed. Masks will be available on-site if appropriate as well as hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray.

If you are ever unsure whether you or your child should attend, please contact our office before the session. We are always happy to help you decide. If a student arrives with symptoms that present a health or safety concern or significantly interfere with their ability to participate, staff may ask to reschedule or may end the session early.

Thank you for helping us keep our students, families, and staff healthy!
